Greeneye Technologies | Startup-In-Residence Highlight

Greeneye Technology's mission is to dramatically reduce chemical usage while increasing productivity and profitability for farmers. With the use of artificial intelligence and deep learning technology, Greeneye Technologies is changing the game by transitioning from the current practice of broadcast spraying to precise and selective spraying. Greeneye Technology is a Startup-In-Residence at The Combine Incubator, an AgTech startup program.

Greeneye identified that one of the most significant threats to crop production are weeds. For years, farmers have addressed this challenge by spraying herbicides across the entire field. This practice has lead to:

  • Farmers spending more than $30B on herbicides each year

  • Weeds becoming resistant to herbicides

  • Severe soil and water contamination

Greeneye Technology has the solution to this problem. Their selective spraying system is designed to turn every sprayer into a smart machine with seamless integration and maximize the farmers profitability. Their dual line design enables farmers to simultaneously spray contact herbicides precisely on the weeds and residual herbicides on a broadcast basis. Implementing Greeneye Technology's selective spraying system into your operation comes with an attractive return on investment as well. Depending on farm size, the return on investment ranges from 6 to 18 months.

Data is collected by mounting cameras on the booms that scout the entire field and produce detailed scouting reports to help farmers gain valuable insights. All of this data is collected on their scouting platform which generates a plan to optimize your herbicide program based on your unique field conditions.

The Combine wants to recognize Greeneye Technologies for their efforts to bring innovative solutions to farmers. For more information on Greeneye Technologies visit: https://greeneye.ag/
